The Friends of the Malcolm X Library operate the Friends Book Sale for the benefit of the Malcolm X Library. The Friends Bookstore is located in the library. Items available for purchase include a wide assortment of hardcover fiction and non-fiction, paperback fiction, mysteries, science fiction, children’s books, humor, travel, reference, computer, business, cooking, history, psychology, biography, classics, audiotapes, videotapes, DVDs, and more. New items are added daily. Malcolm X Library Friends Book Sale is managed and staffed by volunteers, 100% of the bookstore’s revenue is used to support the Malcolm X Library.

We are constantly looking for additional inventory. Donations of good, used books, CD’s, DVD’s and audio books are always welcome. We sell the materials a at the Friends Library Store located in Central Library, and at our online bookstore.
